On October 18th, 2023, while traveling to selected U.S. cities Little Amal searched for her way home.
We have gratitude for the trust that the Festival International de Louisiane and Little Amal placed in us to offer a bit of Louisiana Creole culture through dance.
Louisiana Dance Roots is an avid supporter of cultural community events at local venues.
This interview captures the birth, exploration, creativity, contributions, collaborations, cultural competence, respect, honor, gratitude, future aspirations, and influence that The Barcelo Brothers foster for Zydeco music and other genres, musicians, dancers, and fans all on this planet that we all call home.
Our Zydeco friends, The Barcelo Brothers, from across the pond!
We offered beginner and experienced dancers a fully immersed 3-day experience as we explored dance styles, culture, and community through presentations, interviews, dance lessons, dance sharing, and live music events showcased at local venues in New Orleans along with local and world-renowned talent rooted in Louisiana.
