Events

With Lafayette being the hub, other cities and towns like Breaux Bridge, Henderson, and New Orleans are hot spots with dance venues; however, the music spans west to Eunice and Lake Charles, south to Houma, North to Opelousas, and many others in-between. Festivals also showcase bands and sometimes offer dance lessons for the fest goers. Music jam sessions are held in community whereby musicians gather to share and learn songs to keep the dancers dancing, and the culture thriving.
